Why does my new holster have scars or scratches?
- While we do our best to have a clean holster sent out every time, it is not always possible and helps add to the classic look of the leather. All of our leather starts off being "worn" by cows. At times, when they are in the pasture, they rub against barbed wire fences or have a rough go of it. When we get our leather from the tannery, and start production, it is hard to tell where those scratches and scars might be until the final stage of production. At the end is when we oil the leather to give it the natural tan look and only at that point do any scars come out pronounced. We hope you understand that you are getting a natural product and just like in mother nature, not every cow/holster is the same.
